A theory from TV Tropes have said that creators of Phineas and Ferb Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh read the site and inspired them for many plot elements. This has been confirmed via e-mail.

Instances Where Tropes are UsedEdit

  • In "The Lizard Whisperer", Phineas, Ferb, and Isabella passes a Steve convention; a convention with a bunch of people named "Steve", to find Ferb's pet chameleon Steve. This might suggest One Steve Limit, which involves many characters with the same name, particularly "Steve".
  • During a DVD Commentary of "The Chronicles of Meap", Major Monogram depicts Meap as Nightmare Fuel.
  • In "Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the Second Dimension":

Instances Which (Might) Refer to Wild Mass GuessingsEdit

  • During an interview, Dan Povenmire said that the blind date between Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Linda Flynn-Fletcher is to "fuel the fire" for confirming that the "Dr. Doofenshmirtz is Phineas or Candace's biological father" theory is not true.
  • In "Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the Second Dimension":
    • Phineas mentions that the Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated building looks like Ferb's head, a possible reference to the "Ferb or one of his relatives is somehow connected to the (singing) Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated!!!!! building." theory.
    • Doofenshmirtz-1 claiming that he was literally raised by ocelots might be a reference to the theory where he compares his parents with ocelots.
